I've made a template project for AE that essentially makes your life a lot easier by pulling copy from the comp name - for multiple lines of text that are each independently animatable
It's got settings for changing words per line and has a dynamically sized alpha matte for each line of text
It won't work for everything, but it's a great start for a lot of things
And it's got a basic animation included to get you started
